Garden Blogger Bloom Day June 2012

Here is a quick look at what is blooming today here in Davis...

Ornamental Oregano Kent Beauty, just beginning to show color.

Plumbago auriculata growing up through in the banksia arbor.

Shasta daisies bloom in various spots around the garden.

Agapanthus adds cool blue tones for hot June weather.

Also blooming today: various daylilies, solanum jasminoides, allysum, wax begonias, pelargoniums, cranesbill, lavenders, salvias, hollyhocks, tomatoes, peppers, and borage.

Check out what is blooming elsewhere by visiting Carol, our fearless leader, at May Dreams Gardens.

I've tried to grow ornamental oregano a couple of times and it hasn't worked for me. Maybe I should try again. Happy Bloom Day!

You make California look cool. Just lovely, and great photos. We've got roses right now. Almost time for the Annual Rose Viewing. I wish you could visit.

Oh, I love those agapanthus! And the ornamental oregano, which I haven't had luck with for some reason.

Happy Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day! :-)

My Agapanthus planted just this year, has finished blooming. I thought it might go all year, but maybe not when new. How beautiful your blooms!

Very lovely. My agapanthus isn't blooming yet. I look forward to its heavenly blue. In the meantime, tropical plumbago is looking quite spry though. Happy Bloom Day dear friend Leslie.~~Dee
